There are deep and shallow geothermal solutions. The choice between the two is determined by geological conditions and the amount of energy required. In the case of deep geothermal energy, pairs of geothermal wells are drilled to a depth of up to several kilometers. In the case of shallow geothermal energy, a ground probe field is created at a depth of 100-200 m.
